Despite its long history, the brand wasn’t capturing the energy or relevance of what MUD represents today. The annual MUD Conference needed a stronger digital and visual presence to attract new attendees and revitalize engagement.
At the same time, the organization’s existing messaging was rigid, complex, and outdated, making it difficult to communicate clearly, while preserving trust and continuity with long-standing members who value the organization’s heritage.

Metropolitan Connection
We led a full rebrand inspired by metropolitan connection — a metaphor for movement, gathering, and shared momentum. The logo draws from New York’s skyline, and the palette nods to the city’s flag.
The strategy was to reflect what defines MUD: rooted in New York, built on real dialogue, and focused on the human side of risk. Messaging was updated to be clear, engaging, and accessible, while the rebuilt website and all marketing materials were designed to make the MUD experience cohesive, relevant, and connected.
